Yes, we went all the way to #1 and that’s our epic 2013 story we’re building anew in 2014! This path is prepared by each of you: your every day commitment, creativity, care for helping others reach their objectives, care for details, etc.: they bring us all closer to the stars! Some clubs and divisions have already now demonstrated outstanding skills for propelling our district to its common stratospheric achievement path and a series of D59 awards have been established to encourage and reward YOUR teams work http://www.district59.org/leaders/clublife/district-59-awards/ We are happy to share with you, the list of this autumn’s winning clubs and divisions:
Three D59 PR awards have been attributed by myself (D59 PRO) to the following divisions to promote their work as best practices within the district:
There will be more details on the awarded best practices above in our upcoming posts and more awards attributed in the spring. The rules applicable to the Spring awards will be shared shortly by e-mail and on the district website under the section D59 awards… get comfortable with receiving an award, for you are next! The promotion of our district best practices also happens when you D59 members and professional speakers take the stand at club events, conferences, conventions, etc. This is why we invite all those who feel inspired and confident enough to apply to be a speaker at Toastmasters International conference in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) in August 2014 – Toastmasters first international conference to take place outside the US.
